How to play

  • Each turn you hold 7 cards: draw one (from the deck or the discard pile) and discard another, unless you are closing that hand.
  • A valid combination (3 cards minimum): a set (same number, different suits) or a run (same suit, consecutive numbers; the ace only links with 2-3).
  • The app always shows you the best possible grouping of your hand: you do not have to form it by hand. A hand is only closed by discarding a specific card -if that card allows it, tapping it offers the choice of "Discard" or "Close".
  • "3+4" close: your other 7 cards are combined in one go (2 sets/runs, of 3 and 4 cards). You score -10 and nobody can add cards to your combinations.
  • Chinchon! If those 7 cards form ONE single run of the same suit, you win the game instantly, whatever the score.
  • "3+3" close: 2 sets/runs of 3 cards + 1 spare worth 3 points or less. A 10-second window opens in which any player (including the one closing) may place their own cards onto other people's melds.
  • When the hand closes, ALL players show the combinations they have formed -not just the one closing-: each only scores what they genuinely have left over (the card number; jack=10, knight=11, king=12), never the whole hand.
  • If the deck runs out, the discard pile is shuffled again and play continues. If 3 decks are used up without anyone closing, the hand closes by itself with the last discard: nobody gets a bonus and everyone scores whatever they have left over.
  • The game is played to 50, 70 or 100 points (your choice): whoever goes over is knocked out, and the last player standing wins.

By number of players

  • 2 players: one against one. The 10 second window of the 3+3 close is played between just the two of you, so whoever closes risks less.
  • 3 players: everyone for themselves. Since anyone over the limit is knocked out, the game runs longer: two are left and then the final duel.
  • 4 players: everyone for themselves, no pairs. It is the longest mode, because you have to knock out three opponents to win.

Modes and prizes

  • Against the computer: you play bots, offline and as often as you like. It pays no coins and no experience, so it is there to practise and try out settings without risking anything.
  • Against friends: you open a room and invite them by username. Here only the winner is paid, and at half rate, because you pick who you sit with.
  • Online: we sit you with people from all over the world. Every place is paid, most to least, and it is the only mode that counts towards the weekly League. If the room is slow to fill, simulated players complete it; in that case the League counts half.
  • Buy-in tables: online you can sit at a 100, 250, 500 or 1000 coin table. Every player puts in that amount on sitting down and the whole pot goes to the winners, with no commission. These tables only fill with real people: if they do not fill in time the table is cancelled and your buy-in is returned. Neither the gold booster nor the VIP pass multiplies the pot.
